I prefer wines that are made with a commitment to certified organic and/or biodynamic viticulture. When given the choice, I will choose wines made with these farming practices over others that are not. I believe that these wines show a sense of place more than conventionally-farmed wines; they are better for the environment and the vigneron has a deeper connection to the vineyard site.
Additionally, one wine in every box will either be made by a female winemaker or, even better, by a female-owned wine producer.

When you just need a glass (or 2 or 3) at the end of a long day! This is where my expertise and experience really come in handy. It’s relatively easy to pick out a good bottle of wine in the $30 price point, but it’s exponentially more difficult to do that in the $10 and under price point.

- The “Ballin’ on a Budget” and “No Shame” boxes will include 2 bottles of 3 different wines (for a total of 6 bottles) that will be a variety of different types of wines.
- The “Baller” boxes will include 2 bottles of 2 different wines (for a total of 4 bottles) that will be a variety of different types of wines.
- Will be delighted to fulfill out-of-state orders but shipping is at your own risk. Although the risk is low, Mitchell Somm Selections is not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Additionally, packaging and shipping costs are not included and will be charged according to UPS rates.
- Will include custom tasting notes by me as well as pairing suggestions
- Sign up or cancel your monthly wine box by the 15th of the prior month.
- You can change your monthly wine box from month to month but please notify me by the 15th of the prior month.
- Will be fulfilled on the 1st of the month.
